Project manager (m/f/d) for research projects

We, Exabotix GmbH, are a young, dynamic startup from beautiful Bad Lauterberg. Our focus is on the development of fully automated drone systems in combination with our innovative drone hangar (DronePort). To strengthen our team and further advance our vision, we are looking for a committed and creative project manager (m/f/d) for research projects.

Your area of responsibility

• Acquisition of research projects: You identify suitable government funding programs such as ZIM, EU projects and national research initiatives to implement innovative ideas in the field of autonomous drone systems.
• Preparation and submission of applications: You develop innovative project ideas in close cooperation with our team and prepare the applications including all technical and economic details.
• Management and coordination of projects: After a successful application, you will take responsibility for the planning, management and implementation of the research projects. You will coordinate both internal and external partners, including research institutions and industrial partners.
• Processing and billing of projects: You keep an eye on the project budgets, ensure that all funding is correctly billed, and monitor compliance with the funding criteria.
• Development of future-oriented technologies: Together with the team, you will work on the implementation of autonomous drone technologies and their integration into our DronePort systems for monitoring critical infrastructures.

your profile

• Completed studies or training in engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience in project management, preferably in the field of research and development, as well as in the application and implementation of government-funded projects (e.g. ZIM, EU funding).
• Interest and experience in the field of autonomous drone technologies and their industrial applications.
• Independent, structured work and a talent for coordinating projects.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
