Exabotix develops modern UAV systems and ground infrastructure for autonomous flight operations. At the DLR National Test Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems in Cochstedt, near Magdeburg, we are working on fully autonomous solutions for takeoff, landing, and power supply \u2013 the so-called DRONEPORT \u2013 as well as on the development of our own UAV systems. Our technologies are used primarily in the field of critical infrastructure, where they make an important contribution to security and aerial surveillance. The work location is on the DLR premises at Cochstedt Airfield. With us, you will design systems that function without human intervention and support their implementation through to practical testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Mechanical and electrical integration of drone components and subsystems
\u2022 Construction, wiring and testing of prototypes (drone and ground station)
\u2022 Support in the development of energy-autonomous landing and charging systems
\u2022 Carrying out functional tests, commissioning and system validation
\u2022 Participation in flight tests and practical trials at the test site
\u2022 Close cooperation with other departments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Completed studies or training in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
\u2022 Experience in system integration, cabling and commissioning of mechatronic systems
\u2022 Knowledge of sensors, power supplies and embedded hardware
\u2022 Understanding of UAV technology and flight control systems desirable
\u2022 Willingness to actively participate in flight tests and field trials<\/p>\n\n\n\n
